When I asked the lab what they wanted my project to convey, I remember them focusing a lot on the representation of how HIV is so exposed to minorities. As such, in my piece I focused on showing some of the different minorities being laid bare to the virus (represented by the gray circle). The virus is being held in gloved hands to showcase that the ones closest to the virus have the most information about it and as such are able to protect themselves from it, those further and further away from it cannot.
