I created a very brief illustrated guide to successful collaboration between artists and scientists, from the perspective of an artist. I touched on the importance of providing enough time, communicating expectations and compensation. As someone who has a persistent chronic pain condition, I tied these topics into a conversation about how providing us with enough support - through giving us the above three things - can help to preserve artist health and allow us to make more art going forward, to the benefit of both the artist and the client.
